Our paved parking lot is behind the church (enter from Hart St.).</div> <bR> <div> <B>Office Hours:</B> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >The office is typically open Monday - Friday, 8 AM  -  4:30 PM (closed for lunch 12 - 1  PM, closed on most major holidays).</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#003399" FACE="Arial" ><B>Worship Services:</B></FONT><B> </B>Services are held at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. While we eagerly embrace modern music and theology, we offer a traditional church service which includes singing of <I>The Doxology </I>and <I>The Gloria Patri</I>, recitation of the Lord's Prayer (KJV), NRSV Bible liturgy and hymns from the <A HREF="http://www.cbp21.com/CategorySubDetail.asp?CategoryID=175&CategorySubID=394" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.cbp21.com/CategorySubDetail.a"><U>Chalice Hymnal</U></A>.  Visitors are encouraged to use the laminated Visitors Information Card, located in every pew, for assistance. </div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#003399" FACE="Arial" ><B>Summer 8:30 AM Worship Services:</B></FONT><B> </B>We also offer a shorter Praise Service at 8:30 AM on Sundays during the summer. This year's 8:30 AM services begin June 1 and run through Aug. 10. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Fully Accessible To All:</B> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > Our parking lot entryway has a ramp, and there is ramp access to the church sanctuary through Memorial Hall. There are several handicap parking spaces located close to all entrances with ushers standing by if you require assistance. We also have our own wheelchairs and walkers for anyone who needs them while at church.</FONT></div> <div>  </div> <div> <B>Large Print Bulletins, Afghans, and </B><I><B>Phonic Ears</B></I><B> Hearing Devices:</B> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Please ask an usher for assistance. </FONT></div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#003399" FACE="Arial" ><B>Nursery (Newborn - Age 5):</B></FONT><B> </B>Our nursery, located next to the church office, is supervised by volunteers from the church and is available during Sunday School, Worship, and other church functions. Children enjoy playing with toys, listening to music, coloring, being read to, and sharing snacks. </div> <bR> <div> <B>Sonshine Time: </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >The first Sunday of the month is a Family Sunday, in which children are invited to stay with their families in the Worship Service. The remaining Sundays offer Sonshine Time, in which children (age 6 - 4th grade) are able to leave the Worship Services after the Children's Message for supervised time of fellowship and fun.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>Prayer Requests:</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > Please use the pink cards provided in the pews and pass them to the outer aisles for collection before the first hymn. </FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>Audio Tapes: </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >If you would like an audiotape of our Sunday morning Worship Service, please ask an usher for one or call the church office. </FONT></div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#003399" FACE="Arial" ><B>Devotionals: </B></FONT>We offer two devotional magazines for adults - <A HREF="http://www.upperroom.org/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.upperroom.org/"><U><I>The Upper Room</I></U></A><I> </I>and <I>These Days</I> - plus <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><A HREF="http://www.upperroom.org/pockets/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="http://www.upperroom.org/pockets/"><U><I>Pockets Magazine</I></U></A><I> </I></FONT> for ages 6 - 12.</div> <bR> <div> <B>Holy Communion:</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000099" FACE="Arial" ><B> </B></FONT><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >St. John's UCC celebrates the Sacrament of Holy Communion on special occasions and periodically at other times throughout the year. The congregation is served in the pews and holds the sacraments to partake together. </FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>Parish Nurse:</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000099" FACE="Arial" ><B> </B></FONT><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >St. John's has a parish nurse whose office is located in the parsonage annex and is open after church services for consultation.</FONT></div> <bR> <div> <B>Special Events/Weddings/Reunions: </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >St. John's United Church of Christ has an open door policy for the surrounding community. We have a wonderful event hall and kitchen that is available for rent.
